About National Institute of Fashion Technology Bhubaneswar
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Bhubaneswar is the Odisha campus of NIFT, a statutory institute governed by the NIFT Act, 2006 and administered under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. NIFT's own timeline records the Bhubaneswar and Jodhpur campuses as established in 2010, and NIFT now has 20 campuses. The Bhubaneswar campus stands at IDCO Plot No. 24, Chandaka Industrial Estate, Patia, opposite KIIT School of Management.
Bhubaneswar offers four-year Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) programmes in accessory design, fashion communication, fashion design and textile design, a four-year Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech.) in apparel production, and a two-year Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M.). The 2026 seat matrix shows 34 regular seats plus 7 state-domicile seats for each of these six programmes, 246 seats in all, with 3 supernumerary NRI seats per programme.
