- Register on the IIIT Hyderabad admissions portal and fill the UGEE application form before the deadline.
- Pay the application fee (non-refundable).
- Download the admit card when released and take the computer-based exam.
- Shortlisted candidates attend an interview on campus; qualified candidates are ranked on interview performance.
- Seats are allotted in several rounds. To accept a seat, pay the admission fee of Rs 10,000 (non-refundable) and first-semester tuition of Rs 2,50,000 by the round deadline (2026-27 amounts).
- A candidate with no seat in a round can continue to the next round by giving consent and paying Rs 20,000 once (Rs 10,000 for seat allocation, Rs 10,000 advance tuition).
