G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology & Science for Women

G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology & Science for Women (GNITS) is a women's engineering and technology college at Shaikpet, Hyderabad, set up in 1997 and run by the G. Pulla Reddy Charities Trust. It is an AICTE-approved, self-financing institution affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. The UGC granted it autonomous status for ten years from 2018-19 to 2027-28. NAAC accredited the college at A+ with a CGPA of 3.40 in a certificate dated 29 February 2024, valid up to 28 February 2029, and an NBA letter of 5 July 2024 accredits its CSE, ECE, EEE and IT programmes up to 30 June 2027. In NIRF 2025 it falls in the 201-300 band of the Engineering category.

B.Tech is offered in computer science and engineering, its artificial intelligence and data science branches, information technology, electronics and communication, electrical and electronics, and electronics and telematics. JNTUH's affiliation letter for 2024-25 lists intakes of 300 in CSE, 180 in ECE, 120 each in AI and machine learning, data science, EEE and IT, and 60 in electronics and telematics, plus five M.Tech programmes with 12 seats each. AICTE's 2025-26 approval also lists a 120-seat BBA. NIRF 2025 data records 765 UG graduates in 2023-24, of whom 534 were placed at a median salary of Rs 8 lakh. B.Tech admission is by TG-EAPCET rank, and M.Tech admission is by GATE, with TS-PGECET merit as the fallback in Category A.
