Institute of Management Technology Hyderabad

Institute of Management Technology Hyderabad (IMT Hyderabad) is a private management institute at Cherlaguda, near Shamshabad in Hyderabad. It was established in 2011 and is managed by a society, with the Centre for Advanced Education, New Delhi, named as its trust in the mandatory disclosure. The campus covers 30 acres, about 15 minutes from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. It is not a university: its programmes are approved by AICTE, and the Association of Indian Universities recognises the two-year PGDM as equivalent to an MBA. The PGDM, PGDM (Finance) and PGDM (Marketing) programmes are NBA accredited, the institute holds SAQS accreditation from AMDISA, and it is a member of AACSB International and EFMD Global. NIRF 2025 ranked it 72 in the Management category.

The institute offers the two-year full-time residential PGDM, with Finance, Marketing and LSCM variants, and a four-year Fellow Programme in Management. Its mandatory disclosure lists 210 seats in PGDM and 60 each in Finance and Marketing. Admission to the 2027-29 PGDM batch is on CAT (2026), XAT (2027) or GMAT scores for graduates with at least 50 per cent marks, followed by an application with a fee of Rs 3,500, document submission and an offline interview; classes begin in June 2027. The fee for the two-year programme is Rs 16 lakh, which includes accommodation and mess charges.
