Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Bareilly was established in 1889. IVRI is one of the leading research institutes dedicated to human resource development in the discipline of veterinary sciences. The institute provides quality education to post-graduate students from various parts of the country and from overseas as well. IVRI offers courses in MVSc, PhD, National Diploma, Short Training. It provides diploma courses in veterinary preventive medicine, animal reproduction, veterinary biological products, animal husbandry, poultry husbandry, medicine and surgery, zoo and wild animal health care and management, meat and meat product technology. Now, talking about the institute’s research, it currently delivers 89 research and 28 service products. The institute addresses several National and International research projects on animal health and production systems.
