Kongunadu Arts and Science College was started in the year of 1973 along with an aim to promote the social and economic development of backward and disadvantaged communities by providing a powerful medium of education. It is a Co-Educational and Aided institute of the Government of Tamil Nadu. It is located on Mettupalayam Road on the north side of Coimbatore City. It has engaged with various committees such as Research Committee, Library Committee, Academic Audit Committee, and Students Welfare and Grievance Redressal Committee so that they can ensure the proper management of administrative, academic activities, and evaluation.
