At 2026-27 rates, four years of CSE (Group B) tuition come to Rs 7,80,000 in fee category 1 and Rs 19,60,000 in category 5. Hostel with mess costs Rs 1,20,700 to Rs 2,49,400 a year, or Rs 4,82,800 to Rs 9,97,600 over four years, plus a one-time hostel admission fee of Rs 15,000. That puts the total at about Rs 12.78 lakh (category 1, cheapest room) to Rs 29.73 lakh (category 5, costliest room), plus Rs 20,000 in refundable deposits. For first-year Indian students at Vellore in 2026-27, room and mess cost Rs 1,20,700 to Rs 2,34,800 a year in the men's hostels and Rs 1,26,200 to Rs 2,49,400 in the ladies' hostels (UG), depending on the number of beds, AC or non-AC, and veg, non-veg or special mess. Apply for VITEEE 2027 on viteee.vit.ac.in, take the computer-based test (for 2027 VIT allots the test city, date and time) and join the online counselling by rank. VITEEE 2027 registration opened on 20 October 2026; the last date is 31 March 2027 and the test is scheduled for 27 April to 2 May 2027 (tentative). For 2026 the form opened on 24 October 2025 and closed on 12 April 2026, and the test ran from 28 April to 3 May 2026; the 2025 form opened in the first half of November 2024. The 2026 eligibility was a 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology with at least 50% in Mathematics or Biology (50% for SC/ST candidates and those from Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and the north-eastern states), and a date of birth on or after 1 July 2004.

M.Tech., MCA, M.Des. and M.Sc. (Data Science) admissions are through VITMEE; for 2026 the last date to apply was 12 April 2026. MBA admission takes a VITBEE, CAT, XAT or MAT score, followed by a personal interview.
