National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management

The National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) was set up in 1987 at Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, as the National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, and it became a national institute in 1992. It is an autonomous organisation of the Ministry and is not affiliated to a university. AICTE lists it as a government institution and approves its management programme, and NBA accredited that programme from 1 July 2025 to 31 December 2028. NIRF 2025 ranked it 95th in the Management category. Its mandate covers training for senior and middle level agricultural extension functionaries, studies and consultancy on extension management, and policy advocacy.

The main degree-level offering is the two-year, full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Agri-Business Management), PGDM (ABM), with 120 approved seats, seven trimesters and 112 credits including a summer project.
