PSG College of Pharmacy

PSG College of Pharmacy (PSGCP) is a private, self-financing, co-educational pharmacy college at Avinashi Road, Peelamedu, Coimbatore, established in 2001 by PSG & Sons' Charities and located on the PSG Health Campus. It is affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, and is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and AICTE. NAAC accredited the college at grade B (CGPA 2.25) for 19 February 2016 to 18 February 2021 and at B++ (CGPA 2.95) for 10 August 2021 to 9 August 2026. NIRF 2025 ranks it 65 in the Pharmacy category.

The college teaches the four-year B.Pharm (100 seats), the two-year M.Pharm, the six-year Pharm.D with 30 seats and a Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate) listed with 10 seats. Its departments cover Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology and Pharmacy Practice. NIRF 2025 data records a sanctioned intake of 100 B.Pharm, 57 M.Pharm and 30 Pharm.D seats for 2023-24, 422 B.Pharm students, and 106 B.Pharm graduates in 2023-24, of whom 60 were placed. Admission is through the government or management quota under Tamil Nadu rules; government-quota applicants apply to the Directorate of Medical Education for single-window counselling on merit after the Class 12 results.
