Rabindra Nath Tagore Medical College

Rabindra Nath Tagore Medical College, commonly called RNT Medical College, is a government medical college in Udaipur, Rajasthan. It is affiliated to the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur, and the National Medical Commission lists it as a Government college under code RJ/041/G/1. The commission's seat matrix for undergraduate courses in 2026-27, as on 1 September 2026, shows 250 MBBS seats at the college, with no increase over the existing intake. The same commission's postgraduate seat matrix for 2026-27, as on 29 September 2026, lists 30 programmes at the college.

Of these, 22 are MD and MS programmes with 226 seats, and eight are super-speciality programmes with 23 seats. The largest MD and MS intakes are Obstetrics and Gynaecology (28 seats), General Medicine (25), Anaesthesiology (22), Pathology (20), General Surgery (17) and Paediatrics (17). The DM programmes are Cardiology (5 seats), Endocrinology (3), Medical Gastroenterology (3), Nephrology (2) and Neurology (2), and the MCh programmes are Urology (3), Neurosurgery (3) and Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery (2). MBBS admission is through NEET UG; MD and MS admission is through NEET PG, and DM and MCh admission through NEET SS, each followed by counselling.
