Sree Dattha Institute of Engineering and Science

Sree Dattha Institute of Engineering and Science (SDES) is a private engineering college at Sheriguda in Ibrahimpatnam mandal, Ranga Reddy district, Telangana. It was established in 2001 by the Vyjayanthi Educational Society, led by G. Panduranga Reddy, and is approved by AICTE (permanent ID 1-6923941). The society, formed in 2000, also runs a second engineering college, a pharmacy institute and two teacher-education institutes in Telangana. SDES is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) and, according to its website, publishes results as an autonomous college; the campus covers 10 acres.

AICTE's approval for 2025-26 covers eight B.Tech programmes with 1,200 approved seats: Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (480 seats), CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), CSE (Data Science), Computer Science and Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Postgraduate approvals cover M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, VLSI, Power Electronics and Structural Engineering and an MBA with 180 seats, and five diploma programmes run under the State Board of Technical Education and Training. B.Tech admission is through national-level JEE and the state EAMCET, with 70 per cent of seats in Category A (convener) filled through state counselling and 30 per cent in Category B (management quota); the Intermediate qualification must include Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
