JSAT 2027

JSAT has no fixed national exam dates. The table shows what JGU has published; nothing is expected on the strength of earlier years.

Programme pages say admission at JGU is on a first-come, first-served basis subject to seat availability, so applying early matters more than a deadline date.

JGU publishes no separate eligibility for JSAT itself. A candidate must have applied to a JGU programme and chosen JSAT in the entrance-exam field of the application: the booking option on the dashboard appears only if JSAT was selected, and a programme page tells applicants without a score to select "JSAT > AWAITED". The programme's own eligibility then applies.

• BBA (Hons.) and Integrated BBA (Hons.) + MBA: Class XII in any stream from an Indian or international board recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (CBSE, ISC, state boards, NIOS, Cambridge, IB).
• B.A. (Hons.) Global Affairs, Political Science and Diplomacy & Foreign Policy: Class 12 in any stream; for IB a diploma, and for Cambridge at least 24 credits.
• B.A. (Hons.) Liberal Arts and Humanities: Class 12 in humanities, science or commerce with a minimum aggregate of 60%.
• 3-year B.A. programmes of Jindal Global Law School: 10+2 from a recognised board, in any stream.

JGU does not state an age limit or an attempt limit for JSAT. Pearson charges for re-attempt appointments, so a repeat attempt is possible.

JGU's JSAT page describes one test with three sections. It does not give a separate pattern for 2027, and JSAT-Law, the version named on law programme pages, has no pattern of its own on the pages checked.

• Time: 120 minutes for the whole test.
• Type: multiple-choice questions.
• Marking: no negative marks for wrong answers.
• Delivery: an AI-proctored test taken at home, in a slot chosen by the candidate.

JGU says the test does not need coaching or long preparation, but recommends working through its sample papers first.

JGU publishes no syllabus for JSAT. It links three sample papers from the JSAT page, and these show the kind of questions asked:

• English Verbal Ability: sample paper with sentence correction, vocabulary and fill-in-the-blank items, paragraph ordering and reading-comprehension passages with inference questions.
• Logical Reasoning: sample paper with passage-based sets on arrangements, team selection, relations and directions, and statement-based questions.
• Quantitative Skills: sample paper with arithmetic word problems (percentages, mixtures, compound interest), data interpretation tables and data-sufficiency questions.

These notes describe the sample papers only; JGU does not say that 2027 papers will follow the same topics.

JSAT is one of several accepted scores, and the cut-offs are printed on the programme pages. Applicants without SAT, ACT, UGAT or CUET scores are encouraged to take JSAT.

Other schools use "JSAT / SAT / ACT" in their selection text, and some add CUET; B.A. (Hons.) Journalism & Media Studies asks for a JSAT score of at least 50% or an equivalent SAT, ACT or JSAT-Law score. Admission is holistic: Class X and XII marks, a personal statement, supplementary questions and a faculty interview count alongside the score.

JGU's pages name JSAT as an accepted or required score for the programmes below. A programme that lists several tests accepts any one of them.

JGU runs several programme-specific tests besides JSAT. Pages checked on 15 October 2026 name these:

• JSAT-Law: named for the LL.M. (with CLAT PG) and for the 3-year B.A. in AI and Law; the 2026-27 LL.M. brochure points to the JGLS admissions site for the online JSAT-Law test. The 2027 law landing page names LNAT-UK for the 3-year B.A. programmes and CLAT PG for the LL.M., and JGLS says its five-year law degrees and the 3-year LL.B. accept LNAT-UK only.
• JCAT (Jindal Creative Aptitude Test): for B.Des programmes at the Jindal School of Design and Architecture, alongside UCEED, NID or NIFT scores.
• Jindal PMAT (Psychology Masters Admissions Test): for the psychology master's programmes at JIBS and JSPC.
• JAAT: named for the B.F.A. (Hons.), with a 55% score or an equivalent such as SAT, ACT, JSAT or JCAT.
