Eligibility Criteria
MIT-WPU sets eligibility programme by programme in its admission policy, published for 2026-27. The 2027-28 policy had not been published on 14 October 2026. Check the programme's page before applying.
The four-year B.Tech. does not use the CET. It admits on JEE Main, MHT-CET or PERA-CET scores, plus a statement of purpose. The CET is used for the B.Tech. after 10th, a diploma-plus-degree route.

The test is out of 150: a computer-based test of 100 marks and/or an online personal interaction of 50 marks. The sections depend on the programme group:

Each programme group is tested on the sections listed in the pattern. For example, Computer Science UG covers logical reasoning, basic mathematics, basic English and computer fundamentals. MIT-WPU publishes a sample paper for each group:

How to Apply for MIT-WPU CET 2027
- Apply online for the programme on the MIT-WPU site by 4 December 2026 (CET UG, CET PG and B.Tech. after 10th).
- After applying, log in to take the computer-based test and the online personal interaction. The test can be taken from home on a laptop or mobile, with at least 1 Mbps internet and an uninterrupted power supply.
- For design programmes, the drawing test is part of the CET, and a portfolio review is added.
- MIT-WPU uses CET scores, along with national or state entrance scores, to award its merit scholarships.

MIT-WPU CET Scores and Scholarships
MIT-WPU awards merit scholarships from a Rs 50 crore pool for 2026-27, on national or state entrance scores and MIT-WPU CET scores:
- Dr. Vishwanath Karad Scholarship: 100% fee waiver, for up to 5% of the intake.
- Merit Scholarship I: 50% of the academic fee, for up to 10% of the intake.
- Merit Scholarship II: 25%, for up to 12% of the intake.
Keeping the scholarship needs a CGPA of 8 each year with no backlogs and 80% attendance.
