Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib

Mata Gujri College (MGC), Fatehgarh Sahib was established in 1957 by Bibi Gurbachan Kaun Mann with the ambition to promote higher education. It is an autonomous college affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala and accredited by AICTE, UGC and Grade A by NAAC. MGC was founded in honour of the supreme Mata Gujri, mother of Guru Gobind Singh. It is the first college in Punjab to achieve the status of Autonomous College. The college offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, PG Diploma and Community College courses in multiple streams.
