About Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering
Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering (SNGCE) is a self-financing engineering and management college at Kadayiruppu, near Kolenchery in Ernakulam district, Kerala. It opened in 2002 and is run by the Sree Narayana Gurukulam Charitable Trust of Perumbavoor. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), and it is an approved research centre of the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies. NAAC accredited the college at B++ (CGPA 2.78 on a four-point scale) on 5 September 2024, valid up to 4 September 2029. The college has announced a three-year NBA accreditation for its MCA programme.
The college has departments of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science and Engineering, Naval Architecture and Ship Building, and Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security, along with Management Studies, Computer Applications and Science and Humanities. B.Tech is offered in nine branches, with intakes from 30 to 180 seats on the college site. Postgraduate courses are M.Tech (Cyber Security, and Structural Engineering and Construction Management), MBA (regular and Logistics and Supply Chain Management) and a two-year MCA; five-year integrated MBA and MCA programmes admit Plus Two students. B.Tech government-quota seats are allotted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations on KEAM ranks, MBA admission needs a CMAT, KMAT or CAT score, and the integrated programmes admit on marks without an entrance test.
