About Sri Sai Ram Institute of Technology Chennai Sri Sai Ram Institute of Technology, Chennai, established in the year 2008. The college is associated with Anna University and has received approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college also has approvals and certifications of ISO 9001:2015 Certified institution, and it has been awarded a “A+” grade. The CGPA of the college of 3.30 by the NAAC Executive Committee. In addition, the NBA Expert Team has granted three-year accreditation to five departments (CSE, MECH, IT, EEE, and ECE). The journey of this college began with four departments (EEE, ECE, IT, and CSE), but it has since grown to include eight undergraduate engineering programmes, two postgraduate engineering programmes, and one postgraduate management programme. The institute has given the cell with all of the necessary infrastructure for it to work properly. The cell is programmed to work throughout the year in order to provide students with placement and training possibilities. The college got established by MJF. Ln.Leo Muthu, Chairman of Sapthagiri Educational Trust, is non-profitable, and non-minority institution. The College is functioning at Sai Leo Nagar near the well-known fascinating Theme Park, “Kishkinta”. MJF.Ln.LEO MUTHU is the founder and the chairman of the college. He is also the Managing Director of LEO GROUP OF COMPANIES was an Indian philanthropist, educationist and businessman. As a philanthropist, he was a generous contributor to educational funding and scholarships for school and college students. In order to serve the society, particularly in the field of education, he founded the educational trusts with a motto “To build a better nation through quality education.” There are various colleges under this group of trust.
