How scores are used

IIM Indore selects candidates on the Aptitude Test Score (ATS) and a personal interview (PI). To be considered for the PI, a candidate needs a positive raw score and a minimum mark in each of the three sections, set category-wise by the Admissions Committee. The ATS weights the sections 25 (Quantitative Ability MCQ), 25 (Quantitative Ability short answer) and 50 (Verbal Ability), with each section score scaled between the lowest and highest scores in the eligible pool. The final composite score is ATS 65 plus PI 35. Seats follow Government of India reservation: 27% NC-OBC, 15% SC, 7.5% ST, up to 10% EWS and 5% PwD.

IPM AT 2026 scores were also used by IIM Sirmaur, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Amritsar, IIM Shillong, Alliance University, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, GLS University, Institute of Management Nirma University, LM Thapar School of Management (TIET), IFMR Graduate School of Business (Krea University) and the Department of Management Studies of NALSAR University of Law. IIM Rohtak's IPM page carries a separate IPMAT 2026 summary and its own application portal; it is not covered here.
