About Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University Raipur Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University (SRU), is a Private University established in the year 2018, located in the green and serene environment of the capital city Raipur of Chhattisgarh state. The university is envisioned to offer an outstanding, broad-based, international education to talented students and to develop skilled, reflective global citizens and leaders. The university is duly recognized by UGC and the Govt. of Chhatisgarh for offering its quality-aiming courses at Diploma, PG Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate levels. The college was founded by was founded by Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Lok Kalyan Trust (SRLKT) in 2018. The SRU is located in Raipur, Capital of Chhattisgarh. This trust is basically the on-profit and welfare organization committed to serving the field of Education, Health Care, Social Awareness, Research & Development, and other welfare programs. Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University is recognized under section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956 and granted the coveted status under Sec12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. SRU is the 13th Private University in the country to be recognized under Sec 12 B. The SRU is located in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. The main intent as of why this university was set up was to “to promote the public welfare by exercising an influence on behalf of humanity and civilization”.
