For comparison, the 2025 cycle opened applications on 12 March 2025, closed them on 15 April 2025 and held the exam on 30 April 2025, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with results tentatively on 10 May 2025.
How scores are used
The POLYCET application is also the application for admission, covering both local and non-local categories; no separate admission form is prescribed. To qualify, a candidate needs 25% (30 of 120 marks); SC and ST candidates have no minimum. After the results, a newspaper notification invites candidates for certificate verification and option entry in web counselling, which candidates attend with original certificates. The 2025 brochure notes that candidates from the Telangana (OU) region are not eligible for admission through POLYCET after 1 June 2024 under the AP Reorganisation Act 2014.

How to Apply for AP POLYCET 2027
POLYCET-2026 applications were online only: candidates applied through a Helpline Centre or paid online on polycetap.ap.gov.in. The 2027 application has not opened; the steps below come from the 2025 brochure and the 2026 notification.
- Fill in the application details. The POLYCET application is also the admission application; no separate admission form exists.
- Pay the fee at a Helpline Centre or online.
- At the Helpline Centre, the operator enters the data from the form and uploads the scanned photograph and signature.
- Check the printout for errors. Once the candidate confirms, the operator presses Confirm and the application status appears on screen.
- Download the hall ticket before the exam.
