Qualifying marks and counselling
The prospectus sets minimum qualifying marks of 42 out of 120 (35%) for unreserved candidates and 36 out of 120 (30%) for SC, ST, BC, EBC, women of backward classes, EWS and Divyaang candidates. Counselling and admission in 2026 ran through the portal: guidelines for counselling (20 June 2026), college list with fee details (22 June 2026), admission verification guidelines (4 July 2026), choice filling instructions (3 September 2026), instant online admission against vacant seats (16 September 2026) and final-round admission (29 September 2026). Filling the form, appearing, qualifying or joining counselling does not guarantee admission; candidates are admitted only after their marksheets and certificates are verified in original.

How to Apply for Bihar B.Ed CET 2027
- Register on the portal (biharcetbed-brabu.in) with name, contact details and email ID. The email ID is the login ID for the cycle.
- Activate the registration through the link sent to the email and the activation code sent to the mobile number or email, then log in again with the email ID and password.
- In My Application, fill in order: applicant details; photo and signature upload; educational details; document upload; choice of three exam cities; then preview, edit any error and confirm.
- Pay the fee online by net banking, credit card or debit card. The fee is not refunded, and gender, domicile and category cannot be changed after payment.
- Print the completed application and keep it with the registration number. The proposed 2026 plan allowed editing on 22 and 23 May and issued admit cards from 1 June 2026.
