Overview

MAH-B.Ed CET is Maharashtra's entrance test for the two-year B.Ed, run by the State CET Cell. Dates for the 2027 cycle are not announced yet. It covers first-year admission to the two-year full-time B.Ed (regular and special education) in government colleges of education, government-aided colleges, university-managed institutes and unaided colleges in Maharashtra. Candidates who want English-medium colleges also take the English Language Content Test (ELCT) in the same session; the three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed has its own separate CET. The CET Cell's circular of 30 September 2026 lists the B.Ed and B.Ed (Elect) CET among the tests it will hold for 2027-28, but no schedule or brochure is published yet. The facts below come from the MAH-B.Ed. CET 2026 brochure (academic year 2026-27).
