JEE Main 2027 Application Form: How to Apply, Steps and Direct Link
The JEE Main 2027 Session 1 form is open on jeemain.nta.nic.in from 24 October to 22 November 2026 (11:50 pm), with a late window from 23 to 26 November for an extra Rs 500. It is the only place the form can be filled. The Session 2 form is open from 5 January to 3 February 2027.
Each candidate may submit only one application. A second form, even if it is found later, is treated as unfair means.
How do I fill the JEE Mains 2027 application form?
The 2027 form has four steps, which can be done in one sitting or at different times.
- Register. Give your own or a parent's mobile number and email address and create a password. You can also register through MeriPehchaan, the government's single sign-on. Note the application number: it is your login for both sessions.
- Fill the application form. Log in with the application number and password. Enter your personal details, choose the paper (Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech., Paper 2A for B.Arch., Paper 2B for B.Planning), the language of the question paper and four exam cities, and give your Class 10 and Class 12 details (if you appear for Class 12 in 2027, your board roll or registration number). Then take the live photograph and upload the documents; file types and sizes are listed in Documents Required for JEE Main 2027.
- Pay the fee online by net banking, credit or debit card, or UPI. Bank processing charges and GST are extra.
- Download the confirmation page. It appears only after the payment goes through. If it doesn't, check the payment with your bank or the payment gateway: if the payment failed, pay again before the last date; if it went through, contact the NTA helpline to get the confirmation page. NTA refunds any duplicate payment after fee reconciliation.

Bank processing charges and GST are extra, and Session 1 and Session 2 are paid for separately.
How do I log in, or reset a forgotten password?
The password must be 8 to 13 characters long, with at least one capital letter, one small letter, one number and one special character (!@#$%^&*-). You log in with the application number and this password. If you forget it, reset it with a code sent by SMS to the registered mobile number or a link sent to the registered email address.
Can I correct the form after submitting it?
Yes, once: from 27 to 29 November 2026 (11:50 pm), and only in the fields NTA opens for correction; the list is published when the window opens. Corrections sent by post, fax, WhatsApp, email or by hand are not accepted.
When does JEE Main 2027 Session 2 registration open?
From 5 January to 3 February 2027 (11:50 pm), with a late window from 4 to 7 February (Rs 500 extra) and corrections from 8 to 10 February. If you applied for Session 1, log in with the same application number and pay the Session 2 fee; if you didn't, register then. The Session 2 exam is on 2 to 7 April 2027. You can sit one session or both; the better of your two NTA scores counts.
