AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Entrance Examination 2027

AIIMS New Delhi holds the B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing entrance for AIIMS seats; the 2027 exam dates are not announced yet. The Examination Section of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences conducts the test for admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing at AIIMS New Delhi and the other AIIMS institutes. AIIMS names each cycle by admission session; the 2026 cycle was the August-2026 session, announced in admission notice no. 41/2026 of 24 March 2026. The 2026 entrance was held on 27 June 2026 (Saturday). AIIMS received a large number of applications and ran it in two shifts, morning and evening, at centres across India, with scores normalised across shifts. The 2027 notice has not been published, so everything below comes from the 2026 notices and is labelled as such.

How seats are allocated

AIIMS fills seats through online seat allocation. In the 2026 cycle, candidates logged in to MyPage on the AIIMS portal with their registration credentials and chose AIIMS institutes and subjects once for all rounds; the second round reused the first-round choices. After the first-round result, a candidate could accept the seat and stop (option 1) or accept it and also take part in the second round (option 2); a seat won in the second round replaced the first one. Accepting a seat meant reporting with original documents or a security deposit of Rs 1 lakh, and failing to join an allotted seat carried a penalty of Rs 1 lakh. An open round for vacant seats followed the two rounds. The seat-allocation brochure covers both B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing and B.Sc. Allied and Health Care courses.

1. Wait for the AIIMS admission notice for the 2027 session on www.aiimsexams.ac.in; all notices, corrigenda and updates are uploaded only on the website. In 2026 it was admission notice no. 41/2026 of 24 March 2026.
2. Register online on the AIIMS examination portal during the registration window (2026: 25 March to 10 May 2026, extended from 24 April 2026).
3. Correct any deficiency in the submitted application during the correction window (2026: 17 to 19 May 2026).
4. Appear in the entrance examination at the allotted centre (2026: 27 June 2026, in two shifts).
5. After the result, log in to MyPage with the registration credentials to take part in online seat allocation: choose AIIMS institutes and subjects, accept the allotted seat online, and report to the institute with original documents or a security deposit of Rs 1 lakh.
