BHU UET 2022 is Undergraduate Entrance Test conducted by the Banaras Hindu University for admissions to various undergraduate courses offered the university and its affiliated colleges. The exam is conducted at the university level only and more than 5000 seats are filled on basis of BHU UET scores. BHU UET is conducted in Paper-Based Test (PBT) mode as well as Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

BHU UET 2022 Application Process

Registration is a four-step procedure. Read the instructions mentioned at the start before beginning to fill-up the form. In case of filling incorrect information not only the candidature will be treated as invalid but BHU UET registration fee will also be forfeited. 

The steps are as follows:

Step 1: Registration - Visit the official website of BHU UET 2022 and enter your email id, phone number, and date of birth.

Note: Number and ID must be active and valid, as the entire communication related to the exam will be notified on it.

Step 2: The applying candidate needs to fill the application form by entering your personal details like contact information, academic details, work experience, program preference and exam center preference.

Note: In case, any incorrect information entered, there will be a risk of the application being rejected.A one-time facility to make corrections in the form is also provided. 

Step 3: Upload all the required documents – Scan and Upload your documents (Photograph, Signatures & Required certificated) according toBHU UET 2022 Photo Size, Dimension, Format and Other Details

Step 4: Payment of Application Fee - BHU UET 2022 Application Fee can be paid online via net banking/credit card/debit card.

BHU UET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Com (Hons):
Qualifying Exam: The applying candidate must be a 12th pass from a recognized board.
Qualifying Subjects: The applying candidate must be a passed  with Economics/Commerce/ Computer Science/ Maths/ Finance/ Financial Markets Management subjects.
Minimum Marks: Passed 12th level with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
Age Limit: Applying candidate should be of maximum 22 years of age, as on 1st July 2022.

For B.A (Hons) Arts:
Qualifying Exam: Passed 12th level or equivalent exam from the recognized board.
Minimum Marks: Passed 12th level with minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
Age Limit: Applying candidate should be of maximum 22 years of age, as on 1st July 2022.

For LLB (Hons):
Qualifying Exam: Passed Graduate degree in BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com or its equivalent from the recognized university.
Minimum Marks: Passed with 50% marks in the graduation level.
Age Limit: Applicants should not be more than 30 years of age, as on 1st July 2022.

For MBA:
Qualifying Exam: Passed Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Technology, Medicine, Education, Law or its equivalent from a recognized board.
Minimum Marks: Obtained 55% marks (45% marks for ST/SC) aggregate from any recognized University/ Institute.
Appearing: Candidates apperaing for their final year of their qualifying examination can also apply.
BHU 2021 Exam Pattern

For UET:
Mode: UET will be organized through online CBT mode.
Language of Paper: The paper will be conducted in English & Hindi.
Time Duration: The paper will be of 2 hours or 2½ hours for other courses.
Type of Questions: Multiple choice type questions will be there in the paper.
Number of Questions: 150 questions will be there in the paper.
Total Marks: Paper will be of 450 marks.
Marking Scheme: 3 marks will be awarded for every right answer and 1 mark will be deducted if any question is answered incorrectly.

For PET:
Mode of Paper: The exam will be online.
Time Duration: 2 hours will be given to complete the paper.
Sections: Two sections will be there in the paper – A & B.
Number & Type of Questions: 120 MCQs will be there in the paper. 60 questions will be there in each section.
Total Marks: The question paper will be of 360 marks in total.
Marking Scheme: 3 marks will be awarded for every right answer and 1 mark will be deducted if any question is answered incorrectly.

BHU 2022 Syllabus

The Syllabus of BHU 2022 for UET will be set from 12th level topics depending upon the course and opted stream. For PET, the syllabus will be set based on the UG level topics as per the candidate choice of course in graduation level.

BHU UET 2022 Marking Scheme

BHU UET 2022 is the common exam for all courses but marking scheme is similar for all the test papers.

  • There will be a total 150 questions in one question paper of BHU UET 2022.
  • Each question carries three marks.
  • The candidate can achieve a maximum of 450  marks.
  • Candidates will be rewarded three marks each correct answer.
