Candidates are admitted to a course on the rank secured in the concerned test, subject to the reservation rules, through web-based counselling. A rank needs at least 35% of the maximum marks; SC and ST candidates have no minimum. For M.P.Ed., the merit list is based on 200 marks: 100 for the theory test and 100 for sports achievements verified from original certificates. Appearing in the test does not by itself entitle a candidate to admission, and eligibility is checked only at admission.
