How ranks and scores are used
Candidates are ranked in order of merit. TG LAWCET ties are resolved by Part C marks, then Part B marks; a remaining tie is bracketed and age seniority is considered at admission. TG PGLCET ranks follow total marks, with Part A marks considered next. Qualifying marks are 35% (42 of 120) for TG LAWCET and 25% (30 of 120) for TG PGLCET; SC and ST candidates have no minimum. TG LAWCET 3-year marks are normalised across the two sessions. A Convener (Admissions) appointed by TGCHE admits candidates to LL.B. courses on the rank, and the home page links a separate admissions portal. Qualifying gives no right to a seat: candidates must attend counselling, apply to the admission notification and meet the eligibility conditions. Objecting to the preliminary key carries a minimum fee of Rs 500 per question.
