Instrumentation and Control Engineering Course 2023 Instrumentation engineering is much different than instrumentation control engineering. It is not same as instrumentation technology too. It is another branch of engineering that studies the measurement and control of process variables, and the design and implementation of systems that incorporate them.

The different process variables in this discipline include pressure, temperature, humidity, flow, pH, force and speed. The major information given to the engineers in this discipline are engineering mathematics, industrial management, fundamentals of instrumentation, linear integrated circuit, application programming, measurement basics, metrology, transducers, mechanical measurements, industrial instrumentation, analogue electronics, digital electronics.

The main job of an instrumentation engineer is to Conceptualize, Design, Detail, Maintain and Trouble shoot control system for its client or the industry he is working in.

These engineers are also employed at the major or the top positions in the industrial manufacturing sector and usually work in industries with automated processes, such as chemical or manufacturing plants with the goal of improving system productivity, reliability and stability.

It is a derivative course of instrumentation engineering. This course encompasses the design, build and management of systems that are used in a range of modern industrial settings, and is closely related to mechatronic and robotic engineering. The course is designed and introduced to produce highly trained manpower in instrumentation and control engineering ready to take up the challenges in the industry.
