Manufacturing Process and Automation Engineering Course 2023 Manufacturing Process and Automation Engineering is a specialised branch of engineering. This one deals with the concepts and processes involved in the design and development of machines.

The manufacturing process in engineering includes Casting, Moulding, Forming, Machining, Joining, and more. This discipline focuses on the designing and manufacturing of machines.

The concerned engineers have to design and assemble engines and power plants, structures and vehicles of all sizes and deals with use of machines, control systems and information technologies. It can also be explained as the comprehensive technology discipline for studying the design, manufacture, operation control and production process of all kinds of industrial machinery equipment and mechanical electrical products. This is needed to train senior engineering and technical personnel.

Manufacturing Process and Automation Engineering Eligibility

For UG Course: Candidates must have passed class 10+2 (science stream) or its equivalent from any recognized board in India.

For PG Course: The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Process and Automation Engineering with an aggregate of 50 per cent. Candidates will also have to qualify GATE to pursue this course in IITs.

The candidates must have cleared the national level exams like the JEE Main and GATE.
