Oil and Paint Technology Course 2023 This course is a sub discipline of chemical engineering. Oil and Paint Technology is the study of the processes, techniques, and knowledge that goes into the extraction and refinement of crude oil, natural gas, and edible oil.
Various technologies are implemented in extracting gas, crude oil, and edible oil; and these are constantly being upgraded and improved with the regular introduction of new inventions.
This course is about understanding the chemistry of all the ingredients like polymers, resin and pigments which constitute paint. Paint technologists are responsible for formulating paints which fulfil differing requirements.
